"This is the only drive I've ever used which can endure me. I toast out a lot of equipment, but the Fortress drive has become an essential part of my gear because its sheer ruggedness has proven over and over that it's "Vinny-Proof"!

I had recently stored a huge amount of work on an external 60GB drive from another manufacturer to make my master DVDs of my work for archiving. The only copy was on this drive waiting to be burned onto DVD. The phone rang, while reaching for it I knocked the drive, it dropped about an inch onto the desk. No biggie, right? Nope, the drive broke and I lost all my valuable work, three weeks and $1900.00 later I got most of it back. After that experience I bought a Fortress drive. I never want to feel my heart sink like that again. All we were talking is a drop of less than an inch. I've dropped my Fortress drive feet, no problem. A data lifesaver.
